Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data MojoWiFi ("we") handles, why, and your choices. It covers our website, our dashboard (app.mojowifi.com) and the guest Wi-Fi login pages we serve for our customers.

Customers (businesses using MojoWiFi)

• Account data: name, email address and password (stored hashed), organization and team details.
• Device data: settings and encrypted credentials for the network hardware you connect.
• Hardware requests: the contact details and venue information you send us for a quote.

Wi-Fi guests

When someone uses a MojoWiFi login page, we process the device's MAC address, IP address, the network and access point used, session times and data usage, and any voucher code entered. We process this on behalf of the business offering the Wi-Fi (our customer), who decides how long it is kept and is responsible for informing guests, for example in the terms shown on the login page.

Why we use data

• To provide the service: logging guests in, applying limits, showing usage to our customers.
• To keep it secure: rate limits, abuse prevention and audit logs.
• To communicate: service emails, alerts you turn on, and replies to your requests.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use guest data for advertising.

Service providers

We use carefully chosen providers for hosting, email delivery and (where you connect them) your hardware vendor's cloud services. They process data only on our instructions.

Retention and security

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or required by law. Credentials are encrypted and access is restricted to people who need it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing privacy@mojowifi.com. Wi-Fi guests should contact the business that offers the Wi-Fi first; we help our customers respond.

Changes

We'll post updates here and change the date above; significant changes are emailed to customers.
